"DVD Next Copy Next Tech is one of the more impressive DVD software suites that give you all the tools you need for your DVD projects." |
Minimum requirements: P4 or 1.4GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 15 GB's of free space, DVD Burner/Blu Ray Burner and media
Game Changing Technology:
Backing and copying DVD's has been a simple process for years now thanks to DeCSS and easy to use software. Recently Hollywood has been changing the game a bit by releasing discs with new copy protections that makes some discs uncopyable until the software maker releases a patch to allow it. But now thanks to the new Next Tech feature you are able to update the movie yourself without waiting for a patch from the software makers.
This is done by utilizing your existing DVD Player software such as PowerDVD, WinDVD, etc... Since these player software's can always play back recent DVD's, mainly because they auto update in the background, they contain the 'keys' necessary to unlock the disc. The Next Tech updater simply looks at this data to determine the best way to copy it. Pretty cool eh? Even if you don't want to do all this, there will be a user generated database that contains the files from movies that others have setup. Simply download the 1-2kb file for the movie your after.
Easiest Version to Use:
The user interface is self explanatory. Simply choose a project type from the Main Menu. Version 4 contains these projects:
Conclusion:
The neXt Tech feature is a one of a kind in this market. No other copy software has this feature where copy updates are done in a collaborative effort from all the users using the software. This feature alone takes care of not being able to copy a particular movie because it has new encryption. Anything is possible with neXt Tech and the users are the reason. Recommendation Meter: Very High.
